As we continue to break down the barriers for access to the East End Healthy Living Centre, we also have a 16 (17 incl. driver) seater minibus that can be hired by local groups, teams etc to bring users safely to the Centre, or even to take East End residents out on excursions - our Sunshine Cafe catering staff can even provide packed lunches! The minibus is fully equipped for disability access and is suitable for wheelchair users.
All minibus hires are subject to our booking conditions, and all drivers will require an appropriate licence and to be in possesion of a valid MiDAS certificate. Please click here for an information leaflet about the MiDAS scheme. In Glasgow, MiDAS training can be provided by Castlemilk Community Transport Ltd.
The cost of minibus hire, which is fully inclusive of all insurance and fuel charges, is only 68 pence per kilometre. A minimum hire charge of £22.00 is applicable to all hires.
